Other than the sandy beach, everything in this park is handicapped accessible and there is no charge for parking. One mile east of Ona Beach and Highway 101, a viewing deck overlooks the marsh and creek, with interpretive panels describing the area’s ecology and wildlife. I did notice some traffic noise from the nearby highway, but it's not too intrusive. The beach and marsh are an integral part of the Beaver Creek Watershed that connect old-growth forests, coastal areas and marsh habitats. Some of the tables have a view of the creek. Dogs have fun there too :-) There are about 20 to 30 picnic tables scattered around on the grass with some of them under the trees. Once there, if you walk around to the north, the creek is wide with smooth edges and it's a nice place for young children to safely dip their toes in the water without fear of any waves. There is a cute arched wooden bridge that crosses Beaver Creek as you get nearer to the beach. If you are towing a trailer or have a motorhome with a tow car, you can park on the perimeter near the highway and that should work okay. There is a fairly large parking area but no pull-thru RV spaces. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. This is a popular trail for walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 12 min to complete. Ona Beach is a very popular park in the summer, especially on weekends.
